The Story of a wedding painter...

"People frequently ask if 'Viktoria Majestic' is a professional alias. It is indeed my real name, thanks to my wonderful husband. Seeing how perfectly it fits my life as an artist, I like to think of it as a beautiful serendipity.

Another question I often get: "How long have you been an artist"?
I've been working as a professional artist for over 20 years. My earliest art training spans back to Europe, where I first learned traditional painting techniques.

My artistic journey has been a lifelong endeavor. Ever since I was a little girl, I can remember always fiddling with drawing and painting. Inspired by nature, colors and creatures.

I was interested in art and connecting with people from an early age, and this interest only grew stronger as I got older. I moved to the United States from Hungary, in my early twenties; attended college in New Jersey, followed by my formal art education, dedicated several years to intensive study at the Ridgewood Art Institute and the Art Students League of New York, refining the techniques that now define my style.

An interesting fact, is that I started out my artistic career as a wedding cake decorator, before I became an award-winning fine artist, art educator, and many years later a live wedding painter.

Life took me on a winding path, from starting a new life, in a new country, to raising three children, and ultimately to become even more passionate about painting, and bringing joy to people with my art.

Today, I mainly dedicate my time to painting wedding and realistic, custom paintings that bring each client’s unique vision to life. Whether I’m working on a live wedding painting, bridal portrait, an anniversary piece, or a one-of-a-kind commission, I pour my heart into every brushstroke before sending the finished artwork to its new home.

A painting can capture moments in time, meaningful memories, a way, no other medium can. I believe that every couple deserves a cherished personal keepsake that will last for generations, and brings back the joys and sweet memories of their wedding.
